Local divers to attend Squid Run

All divers are invited to join Scuba Center Temecula for a trip to participate in the La Jolla Squid Run. The run is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at La Jolla Shores.

Past Squid Run participants have seen rays, crabs and even octopi. But, of course, the main event is squid.

Each attendee should bring two dive lights, scuba gear including tanks/weights, a towel, warm/dry clothes, snacks, drinking water and a small mesh bag for trash.
